Whole30 and Paleo Breakfast Sausage
This Whole30 and Paleo friendly breakfast sausage can be used in so many different recipes. You can add more cayenne for an extra kick! Make into patties or leave as is to have ground sausage.
Add all ingredients to a bowl. Mix with hands until all seasonings are incorporated. You can make into patties or leave as is if you want it in pieces.
Heat a cast iron skillet or large pan over medium heat. Add a small touch of oil to the hot pan and swirl it around, if not using a non-stick pan. Add the sausage patties or the sausage to the pan.
If cooking patties, cook a few minutes on each side until the patties are browned and cooked throughout.
If not using patties, use a spoon or a ground meat chopper to break up the sausage as you brown it. Cook until browned throughout.
